Ships on grey seas. Waves keep the time like my heartbeat. It's an overture. Time to join the Marching Line. And leave it all behind.

 :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

omg, so beautiful!
jealousy is killing me right now.

I definitely hear the word "overture" in the song on the website video..

Yep. That's what I can only make out. That is, aside from the 'boots on concrete,' 'it's time,' and 'fortune teller, fortune still hurt.'

lol, same here!

I hear Boots on concrete, and and the end it's fortune tellers, fortunes tell her.
Peace
Adriann

hmm... I don't really like that cover, it's too modern and graphic. If there was going to be an alternate cover incorporating V I would want it to be something keeping the mood and look of the record. Sublte changes without changing the concept. Maybe something like this:

I kind of like it, actually. But I think it would be better if they used the other picture instead.

I actually really like that!  That could work as the real cover.  :)

Just figured out the line in Fair-Weather Friends, don't know if anyone else has already, but I hear; ...Did I ever leave Chicago? Got your message, that you're doing well.
Thanks, James.

There are 43 days until
 Tuesday, 21 June 2011.

:D!!!!!!!

Just thinking, the video that was up on vanessacarlton.com looks pretty professional, so I wonder if we'll get a 'Pleased to Meet You 2' :D I hope so, and wouldn't it be amazing if she recorded videos of some unreleased songs and put them on the end of the video. I know none of this will happen, but wouldn't it be amazing?! I know none of it would match, not cherry picking songs, a body of work etc etc yada yada yada, but what if?!
Thanks, James.

The recording I have is "And you're in LA, not Chicago. Key under mat, I walk the dog, order in, home alone"
