Let's just hope it won't get pushed back again! Sorry to talk AGAIN about Michelle Branch but her album was pushed back like 5 times and then cancelled. This can not happen with this record... I'm starting to wonder why the hell V wouldn't just release it on her own.. Well, it's all for the best I guess

And yay for the music sheets!

AND that idea about only one person buying the digital album (IF it's even released digitally on june 21st) is an amazing idea. They won't get our money twice (than originally planned ;)).

Anyone?! LOL.

Oh man, ANOTHER month? We were just about to make it through to June.  :'(

Maybe it would help it we finally got a decent website, which we have been waiting more than half a year for.

It annoys me that they weren't more organised about this. I guess they want to get as many first week sales as possible, but now that the album has been distributed in full to so many reviewers, it could be a risky move to push it back a month. They now have incentive to leak it because it'll be even more anticipated, and frankly Razor & Tie is such a small label that I can't see them trying to stop a leak.

If they're expecting great sales (first week and/or overall) then they need to start promoting HARD. But again, that's something that should have been sorted out months ago. Who announces a release date and THEN thinks "oops, I wonder if the distributors can actually distribute the album from that day on?" or "oops, I just remembered we have to actually promote this album if we want it to sell"? Not saying that happened at all, but if that is the reason it's been delayed then it makes me question their professionalism. I mean, I don't think it's that ... this label have been around for years & released many albums from other artists so it's not like they're new to the whole process. It must be something important though to delay an album three weeks before it's scheduled to be released.

An explanation really would be nice.

"Dear California" sounds fun!

I think I'm gonna love "Bride", "London", "Fairweather Friend" and "Marching Line" most.

Same here!! But I feel like I will grow to love In the End as well. And Hear the Bells. It's so different from anything she's done, so it trips me out when people say she's still sticking to her guns. Just because she uses a piano, doesn't mean it sounds the same.
Peace

A few thoughts after listening through them all a few times. I love how the loud analog hiss on London sounds like rain, though there could be a good chance it's actually a recordiing of rain lol. Hear the bells is gonna be a clear favourite for me, when it came on just I died. That voice, her melodies, the haunting prouction. Amazing! Dear California sounds lovely too, brings warmth to the album. I was basically on the verge of tears throughout these clips and have a strong feeling that this album will surpass harmonium as my favourite record. The whole things sounds so dreamlike and timeless. God I can't wait!!
