Well I lasted 15 minutes without listening  ;D   I'm loving The Marching Line  ;D hard to make out In The End from such a short snippet. Get Good sounding really good, the snippets are certainly leaving me wanting more, I am more excited then ever now  :)

Love Dear California and TTFS! In the end sounds dark and sad... Well, I love them all but I want more and more and more. I think that I'm going to play all the previews a lot of times like I did with Carousel xD

I knew before I even clicked the Amazon link that FWF would be my favorite.  :) HTB and ITE aren't really convincing me, to be honest. Now that I've heard the clips, I have to say, ROTR is giving off a very gypsy/seance vibe.

I like this!  8)

Ahh such teases. I wish they were all recorded to have the quality of Harmonium/H&T. Of course with the details effect (hissing, rain, oceans) still included. Analog sounds not good enough for me.

This exactly. I don't know.. I think the sound actually ruined some of the songs.

Fairweather Friends remains my favorite, even though the original lyrics in my opinion were the best. </3 It's produced great, though.

It's sad, but it's almost a letdown to see some of these songs recorded on analog. Some fit, but others were clearly meant for a higher method of recording.

wow! listening to the clips right now. I've already loved Bride, but now I can't even explain, it's amazing  ;D I think my favourites are gonna be 'Bride', 'Hear the Bells' and 'The Marching Line', though I loved them all! Get Good grew a lot in me with this preview.
In general this album is VERY different from V's previous work and yet it's still pure Vanessa as always (if that makes sense).  And yeah... it will very likely be my favourite :]

Holy bats..................

I was saying SHIT the whole time. (Please, forgive the word)

What a great way to start Monday. (:

1) Carousel - We already know this. (: Colorful palette.
2) I Don't Want To Be A Bride - Really BOLD. Sounds more sweet than ever to me. This deserves a good spot light.
3) London - I like the kind of noise in the background. It reminds me of those old movies. Another thing - I'm in love with the ethereal vibe.
4) Fair - Weather Friend - I thought that this was going to the direction of Fools Like Me. But man, they are different. I bet that the bridge would be more awesome.
5) Hear The Bells - It's like going into a trance. The vibe I get is the one from Sia, Enya, and such. This is the dreamiest of all, I must say. (Before, I thought it was going to be a song about marriage. I was wrong.)
6) Dear California - What can I say? It's totally unexpected, but in a good way. One of the lightest V song I've ever heard.
7) Tall Tales For Spring - The percussions are just great. Not as dark as expected. (: Hawkings is one sure
great man.
8) Get Good - Ha! I knew this song would be great. I knew it. I just knew it.
9) The Marching Line - This one is already my favorite because of the Four Elements. I fell in love more with the snippet.
10) In The End - Chaotic, as she told in her bio. But there is a mystery here. And I'd like to discover that mystery. (:

This is the greatest batch of V's songs.

Floating on the sea, stars are watching me. Currents take me out, what will be will be.

Lyrics?

Get Good:
…moonlight
Or have you lost your constellation eyes
Well, you could give it time
I wish I could be there, wish I could make it right
Don't you worry, you'll soon be on the mend
That's no trick, that flick of radiance
You'll feel lucky

Hear the Bells:
When/And no one ever comes
Kneel and pray to a grave stone
But the grave stone never tells
Hear the bells
Hear the bells
December, crossing of the travelers...

In The End:
…And in the end
We begin again…

The Marching Line:
….clouds, like cathedrals
When night hits the sea
And I walk to the highline
Ships gonna take me at midnight
The storm sounding out like an overture
It's time to join the marching line…

Dear California:
…Whether in my thought's
On the roof sneaking a cigarette
Dear California
It's been nice to know ya
Tell me will you miss me when I'm gone
Cause he loves me as I leave
So I've gotta go
But not in companies when you feel most
And you keep my memory...

Fair-Weather Friends
...Home alone
Found your letter on a full moon Sunday night
Some other girl, and he spelled, casting plans for her life
Pour the vodka, and it dulls sharp eyes
Breathe the words, diamonds on rings.

Floating on the sea, stars are watching me. Currents take me out, what will be will be.

WHOAA THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I was going to wait for the album before hearing any of it, but hell now that we have to wait til July, it's too long to wait!! I'll only listen to them once each though :)

i love it. there isn't a single track preview that doesn't cause little earthquakes in my heart.

i would love if someone made all of the previews into a single track fading them into each other. i'll do it if i have time.
I'll make it now :D Thanks Pushglow for the snippets!!

They were all so beautiful..but in particular, London: gave me goosebumps..Hear the Bells was also hauntingly beautiful.
