Omgosh I'm listening to all the itunes previews right now and they all sound so wonderful <3 Between these and the Amazon clips, we pretty much have two full minutes of all the songs. IDWTBAB sounds better just like I knew it would with a longer clip. It actually kind of brought me to tears lol. London is stunningly beautiful. I'm sad though; she changed the lyric to my favorite part in Fairweather Friend
I loved the "I'm just as clever, it's not technically cheating if..." But omg the strings and the choir coming in at the end of the preview made up for it. It gave me chillssss. Hear the Bells continues the mystical lyrics/sound side of the album; her voice in the bridge is so creepy and different, I love it! Dear California is so poppy and feels like a sunny day lol I think it's going to definitely be one of my absolute favorites on the album. The piano and instrumental bit in TTFS surprised me, but I love that it's a little bit harder. It give a good contrast to the album having so many soft songs. I don't know where Get Good falls for me after hearing the longer sample of it. It'll probably be a grower if I don't love the song instantly. The Marching Line is my going to be my favorite. Instrumental/lyrics/vocal/everything so far = amazing. When the drums kick in, I got chills again. In The End creeps me outttttttttt but it's so neat the way they made her vocals blend in and seem so ghost-like or something, which again, there's that mystical/supernatural vibe. These clips give a damn good snapshot of the album, and from the sound of it, it's another perfect record from Vanessa. Four years was so worth the wait, and there won't be an issue waiting another four for the next record with how timeless this one is. <3
