What a beautiful song! I love that Vanessa sings about shamans and witch doctors and such in her recent songs. I find it really compelling. And, for me too, the message of the song is very much of use at the moment... Huh, taking it easy isn't always that easy, right?

the way she sings "when your castle crumbles down, and it will" hits my heart hard.

beautiful little song that somehow manages being innocent and wise at the same time.

oh yeah! especially the "and it will" gives me shiver! because of the way she sings it but also because of the meaning of it. I love the theme of the song. You will always go through hard time, you can't run away from them so just take it easy.

This is easily the best song I've heard since.. the rabbits songs ! but it might be my fave V song!

That song is flawless. Can't believe people are talking when Vanessa is in the same room. Anyway, the world's full of idiots, that's no news. This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, I can tell that even with people talking over it. Vanessa is the best and she's only getting better. Thank you Vanessa! And to the person who uploaded it!

Agreed.  Unfortunately, most people are shallow and don't wanna pay attention to lyrics. They just want dance beats.

You're not alone, I cry almost every time. I still remember the first time I heard the studio version of Carousel... It was a good cry though, of course.

I'm having a hard time figuring this song out. ;A;
When I looked for help, they said that when the note's in C or F you use the sharp key, but still it doesn't sound right.
The dynamics for the left hand also makes it hard for me. (

Someone kind enough to post a tutorial, or turn the notes to letters, or simply teach me how to read notes (I can only read music sheets without sharps (those in C major/A minor) since I never had a piano teacher, stuff I only learned from YouTube.)

My interpretation of the Take It Easy. For the more recent version, we had most of the lyrics in common (Kulpdogg). I bolded a couple of differences that I noted. Take a gander:
