Usually when I am talking to people about her, I will use Vanessa, or in rare cases, just V.

Other: I refer to her as simply "V" in context.
Mainly cause I heard thats what her friends and family call her.
Out of context... "VC" and most peeps know who I mean.

"Nessa" is strickly fan made.

I say Vanessa Carlton because most ppl dont know who im talking about  :evil:  but if its around my friends, mum or sister i say Nessa.

I use Nessa, VC, V, Vanessa, Vanessa Carlton sometimes, and when im talking to other people about her I just say Vanessa Carlton.

But when I say it's her from A Thousand Miles mostly they know who I am talking about, but some don't even know her than  8O
