"Vanessa Carlton's emotional soulful tunes of her second album may not live up to the commercial successes of her past, however they should fare well with critics. She is definately not a pop princess and those who thought of her as a bubblegum girl after the success of her first single, A Thousand Miles...are way off. Her Sophmore Album may not reach the platinum status of her debut, Be Not Nobody, but Vanessa's lyrics and talent should shine through and hopefully she will be noticed as the prodigy that she is. A song to watch out for is 'San Francisco' about her new love for the city and love for the man that lives there. Stephen Jenkins, her boyfriend and lead singer of Third Eye Blind pops up producing the majority of the album and directing and producing the majority of her dvd being released around the same time as the album. I wrote that - i think though with this single she will be fine --- I think she will get airplay...
also I had wrote something about teen people diary about making the album - what happened to that - there was only one that i remember hearing about - did they ever publish more???
