These guys are amazing! "Kryptonite" was just gaining steam as a single but I wasnt overly impressed, then a friend of mine had me listen to "Loser" and I couldnt believe it, it was one of the best songs I'd ever heard. Lyrics were powerful and it just hit me that this was an incredible band. I then downloaded "Duck And Run" which I totally loved too and finally decided the CD was worth buying. There are so many great tracks on The Better Life, I didnt think anything would top it. Boy was I wrong. When they put out Away From The Sun its so good it makes you not even think about the first CD! "When I'm Gone" was totally overkilled and ruined for all of time, but the rest of the songs on the CD are priceless! The title track "Away From The Sun" is wonderful, and my favorite on there has to be a ballad "Here Without You" which could damn near make you cry.
They put on an awesome live show too. I got to see them play an arena in 2001 with Tantric and Lifehouse opening for them. I'd love to see them do a club date, but these guys rock without a doubt!

I liked them especially since they are from Mississippi and that's where I was born. Not a whole lot of bands coming from the crooked letter state these days ya know? :)

I just got the 3DD Street Team newsletter thing, it said that "Here Without You" is the new single!! I hope it does well! "Road I'm On" kinda bombed. But I'm excited.

Here Without You music video

I'm not sure how I feel about that video. Kinda reminds me of Blink's video for Adam's Song. Some songs are so amazing on their own, a video kinda takes away from what you have in your head. Like if Vanessa made a video for Twilight. But it's still pretty cool.

The email from their mailing list also had this:

I hadnt heard anything about this! I'm guessing its a live DVD. Thats pretty kickass!
