Im sorry but im not going to be reasonable when i am referred to as a "retard from the o-board" , maybe you guys should just explain to your overreacting whiny members that we arent here forever and we arent here to cause problems

So literally, the few hundred users on the o-board are a much smaller number to consider "all retards" then my views most of the entire population

pete, i understand that mothers may come here, but they would check the VCMB too.  If *I* was 17, and concerned about my mother looking at what i was doing, i wouldn't go there... everyone posted freely on the VCMB and i'm sure there were many threads where "sex" was mentioned at some point.

I think people need to make a decision.  They need to either stick here, enjoy their time and make more of an effort to become one of the people here that likes to be here... or just not come around.  Clearly, you are upset and emotional because you want to be here and talk to people, but sometimes they aren't accepting... well at the same time, all the people you want to accept and like you... you keep telling "i'm only here till the VCMB comes back" which is... fairly insulting.

im not really sure where sex is mentioned and i know it has been and complaining to Jon doesnt work as we already know.   I said i was only here while the board was down because of all the people complaining, i was trying to get them to stop making me feel insulted.

The o boarders are "my" population...i fit into the generalization, if you said 70% of o boarders are retards i would still feel insulted, my guess is 1-2% and even so what gives people the right to just upright call someone a retard because they didnt suspect the rules would be so strict?  saying percentages is a lot different than just stating a group

In all honesty im not exactly some sexual deviant so yes it does offend me, are you pleased that i told you, because i would have rather let people have their sex thread, id rather my chat threads dont get complained about

I was only quoting my thoughts on most of the population =)  It's entirely possible that the VCMB or the NHMB has the 30% I speak of... not the 70%.  =)

If you ask me, i think you're having a problem coping with change, and found things at the VCMB (as disorganized as they may be) comfortable.  Everyone knew you, liked you, and therefore you enjoyed going there.  There is no problem with this... i think if you wanted to stick around here, and didn't make your stay here feel so temporary, people might be more inclined to bond with you.  I mean, i dig you, but that is my opinion.  I am hesitant to get to know you knowing as soon as Fullerene get's their shit together you'll bail... that kinda sucks for me.

two *completely* different things..
a common sex thread for several members to go discuss various things on a forum is one thing...
a chat thread for you to talk back and forth with someone where it could have just as easily been done in PM or AIM or some other form of communication is something different.

Chat thread ARE annoying.  When something is started saying "Hey Pete!"  and you respond with "hey there, how're you?" ... i mean c'mon, i have those conversations in AIM every day.  Granted, since this thread seems to be you and I responding, we could just take it to PM or AIM, but i would like to see others respond if they so desire.

This is a forum, not a chat room...why don't people get the difference?

btw, if you are genuinely "offended" by the Sex thread, i'll take it up with the other mods when they're on.

like i state in the other thread i have done things and am willing to do things, yet i know ub's who have done less.  Thats unwelcoming, im getting wise because i had a serious complaint and it got blown off, and worse it was blown off because im a "smartass"(haha real funny but you upset me and my friend both by saying that to her, you know who you are).  The only reason i complained is because other threads have been shut down for FAR less.....i think youre modding system is unfair and insulting in itself..
