shannon noll, kasey chambers, and the veronicas do not sing in true australian accents.  missy higgins voice is too bogan, or kiwi, or something, and i wouldn't know about the others.

I AM A BIG FAN OF NATALIE IMBRUGLIA.. AND I CAN TELL YOU SURELY THAT SHE DOESN'T SING WITH THE AUSSIE ENGLISH

Have you ever heard a TODIE (TODAY) KAIME (CAME) in any of her songs?????

Her First album, she was forced to americanise it.. the second one, it was a mix of Brit and Ame... and her 3 album is with a strong brit accent, but not Aussie, it may be because most of time she spends in UK

The other ones above, I'm gonna check

Well, I can understand the english languaje and I can distinguish the british, australian and american accents when someone is talking but it harder to do that when they are singing.

oh my god. please stop that now. just because our president might be an arrogant crook doesn't mean we all think we're the shit. I hardly identify with my country. I would rather be australian, or english, or whatever. Stop the hatred, it's rediculous and will get nobody anywhere, fast.

Depends what you mean by TRUE Aussie accent...
As with any country, the accent is a bit different in different regions.
The "Aussie accents" I hear in films usually sound really fake to me. (usually because they are, and sometimes because they just sound different to me!)
I'm South Australian and my "accent" sounds like Claire on Lost (I heard she is a south aussie too)

As for singers, I don't know any that haven't already been mentioned, but I agree that Missy sounds a little bogan-ish... I don't talk or sing like her!

YOUTH GROUP.

seriously.  they have a song called "under the underpass" and they say "pass" not "pass". know what i mean?
they sing in aussie voices.

For those of you who are like, who are Youth group?, they covered "Forever Young" as it was used on The OC.
Album is called "Casino Twilight Dogs"  and you should all listen to their song "catching and killling".

that is all.
