You know when you're on hold and they play music for you . . .

well my mom is on the phone (right now) with Verizon, and she just started singing, "Take my hand . . . " So I look at her with a "what-on-earth-are-you-doing-singing-into-the-telephone" type of face.  

And my Mom, says, "It's Vanessa Carlton, Ordinary Day"
"Well I know that mom!"
"They play Vanessa on hold!"

 :D

Yay!  All the angry Verizon customers get to hear Vanessa!!

I used to be a Verizon Wireless customer, but since they didn't cut off my service when I told them to, they want $700 that they'll never see.

Soooooo . . .because we left ATT and switched to verizon MCI has been bugging us lately trying to sell their phine service.  And since they call about 3 times a day . .. we've come up with a list of responces to them . ..

one of them is to put MCI on "hold" by playing Vanessa into the mouth piece!  lol!  And it wasn't even my suggestion!

LMAO! I had this list of things to say to telemarketers and I don't remember all of them...But when they want you to get the "MCI Friends and Family Plan" simply say,

"I don't have any friends and I have killed all my family,"

They won't ever call back trying to sell that again...Trust me!
