Starting later this month the band will start doing live shows around LA, once a week, all summer.

I may try and go back down again. I would love to see them play a show.

They are call Trading Yesterday .. Give them a listen ... you more or ess feel what he's trying to say wih out him saying it ...
it's mellow and you know how sometimes you feel a wash of freedom when you listen to a song ... it sort of invigorates you and mkes you feel a new sense of ... I don't know ... but it's been  long time since I said ..
OH MY! The insant I heard a song ... maybe it's the acoustic guitary mood i'm in right now ...
Kind of mellow kind of happy ... kind of a whole bunch of everything ... just really really good ...

I completely forgot about this band. HOW? "One Day" was so addictive. Huh. Well, now that I'm back from music rehab, I'm off to buy their music asap.  They really do pack an amazing amount of emotion in their songs, at least that's my take.  Why aren't they all over the radio?

The band is at this moment recording their new EP which is due out this summer.
"the new stuff is really rad. new ty would beat up old ty in the parking lot after school."

An additional bonus, "One Day" was used in the trailer for In The Land Of Women. Check it out. It's pretty badass.

And in case you havnt already, download the newest album More Than This, cause it will never be available to buy, but luckily free to download.

There is a new TY demo up on their MySpace. It is a pretty good song, I like it.  :)

On the local radio station, there was news about Hodges writing a song in response to one of Kelly Clarkson's songs, which was apparently about him... I had no idea that they had dated.  Interesting.  Just thought I would share -- thought of you BV when I heard them talk about David and Trading Yesterday.

After many years....
Trading Yesterday is dead.
The Age Of Information is dead.

David is now a solo artist signed to Warner Brothers Records.

In August he will be opening for Daughtry.

New single and EP should be out very soon.

He does have a couple new songs on his official myspace:

I am sad the Hodges dates were on such short notice, I may have considered heading to Chicago to see him.

I really dig the EP. I've always been a fan of the Hodges stuff, but the EP really impressed me. Some people just have a knack for creating good music and David apparently is one of those people.
