Favorite song on the Demo Tape?

Well, the cat is out of the bag now. The demo tape is out there. I figure, I might as well start a poll for those who have it already.

Personally, I'm torn between Meggie Sue and Faces. Burden is also rather interesting as far as V's stye in general is.

And btw... those who do have the leaked recordings, don't throw them on KaZaA or whatever..... they are rather cold and noisy. We'll have cleaned up versions soon.

you've heard twilight, paradise, wanted and ordinary day surley.

How can we get a copy of this cd? I read the thread from Grakthis or whoever but I don't know how to do all that tree stuff. I will pay for a copy if someone will send me a burned copy or whatever. I just really wanna hear the songs I don't have. It's torture enough having to wait so long for her new cd and tour! 8O

And I'm going to keep on saying this...THE RIPS AREN'T BAD!! My god. Take what you get. I'm sick of people being so picky. You all are acting like little brats. Ohh my gosh..they posted the song...and they aren't even good sounding. Whatever. Download the songs. They're just fine. They ARE NOT LOW QUALITY! the live songs that say high quality are worse. Stop trying to scare people away from the songs.

You do have a point. Many of the tapers are all bitchy about their bootlegs being encoded into lossy formats when the source sucked to begin with. It's a different story, however, with the tape.

And btw... the cleaned up version will probably be distributed as mp3. No SHN or FLAC schtuff for you to worry about.

The tape exhibits artifacts. The source sucks. Katia and a friend supposedly cleaned it up a bit. If you don't hear it, fine. You probably won't hear the difference with the new versions. However, some people can. The rationale behind all this stuff is that we would rather have the good rips floating around out there than these, so that the people who can tell the difference won't be flooded in the rips that aren't as good.

One last thing. If you are going to tell me that they are good quality, at least listen to it through a good sound card with a good amp and speakers first. Or better yet, a decent pair of headphones with a good sound card (cheaper, arguably better sound). Just because it sounds fine through your crappy dime sized speakers or crappy headphones that came with your cd player, with your cheapo OEM sound card doesn't mean it will sound ok through my studio monitors and sound card.
