I don't wanna see! POA is my fave book and i don't want them to ruin it!
I think the films are quite good but they're nuthin like the film, they don't have the same feel so its always disappointing

Agreements! I am a long-time Potterholic, and right now, even though I have both on DVD, I dislike the movies. They downright ruin the books, and.... Eep! I can't wait, but I can't stand it either. The person who plays Harry Potter is terrible in my opinion.

yep! sounds really rude... but Harry Potter is supposed to be THIN! he wasn't fed properly for eleven years!
I think the girl who plays Hermione is way to cute and pretty. And isn't Hermione supposed to have long front teeth?  :?
Some of the characters have been done well though. I like (can't spell her name!) Professor McGonagol  :? and Snape

Another thing i don't like about the films. People watch them instead of reding the books the lazy gits! and then they judge it on the movies!

this is funniest fan fic I have ever read, and I've read A LOT.  They're mostly really bad, but this one had me rolling on the floor.

I read the 1st chapter, it's funny. Strange that the part that made me laugh was Gred and Forge  :?

Harry Potter #4 the Most Expensive Movie Ever
« Reply #8 on: January 19, 2004, 05:44:42 pm »
I had a feeling something like this would be coming up. Harry Potter #4 is the most expensive movie ever to be made.

Also, I've heard that they're going to smash all of the scenes into another 2 1/2 hour movie. That's kind of stupid, since the book is huge.
Why don't you come on over? Stop making a fool out of me.

EGH, why can't they just make a four hour movie and make people suffer?!? lol, i know that's not possible, but you can NOT put the third book in to a 2 1/2 hour movie and have it be really good. I'm really really skeptical about this movie. Book 3 is my favorite because of the detail that Rowling puts in to it, and i doubt that they're going to be able to fit it all in. Personally, i wouldn't be opposed to a really long movie if it meant that everything is included, however, i know that could never happen :-P Guess we'll have to wait and see!

i saw the preview for the 3rd one and it looked good. i'll be seeing it

i hope the 4th one turns out good. it's going to be hard to fit in all those scenes and details into a reasonably lengthened movie.

they sure are growing up really fast.

I wonder if thats going to be a problem for the kids that are really into the book, if they are going to judge them because they are getting older.
