I am sure some of you have heard of her before....
I just saw her recently opening for Jason Mraz and she caught my
ear.  She has a voice that can be perfectly be explained by mixing Cheryl Crow and Chantal Kreviazuk together.  Guitar Chicks are awesome!  She has a 7 track EP out which I purchased and is pretty good.  My favorites are " Evaporated" and " Guest Check" .   She has also been doing a song with Jason Mraz on tour called " Shy that way" which is really awesome and boots of it are available as well so check that song out!

Also Check out her new Album " Twenty Three" released by Virgin Records.  It is a good all around album I recommend it!

Danny has started a topid bout her a couple of yrs ago... wise danny

anyway, i was wondering. cuz i saw her cd at the store here and didn't know who that was. and on the same day i read her name on babs's lj... so i was like: what the heck? and decided to check her out

i did like her stuff!

any more info bout her? is she big in the US?

She is not too big here, but she is getting the buzz.  She is pretty big in the San Diego area I read.  I love the new album Twenty Three!  I think Love Love Love can do very well if it is pushed right.  I saw her video on Vh1 the other day and said  8O

I've known her for a while but never managed to get my hands on much of her stuff  :( But the little I've heard sounds good! She's Jason Mraz's girlfriend :P

back to the name thing again...it's very unique, the only other times I've heard the name used are for the character in King Arthur and a character in the movie I just worked on (both used as names for a guy).

Her voice annoys me kinda... the song "Love, Love, Love" is cute (kinda reminds me of a jason mraz song actually) but I can't get past her voice. It's very breathy or something.
