hey, I'm a fan of the donnas and I joined the "donnaholics" like a month or so ago. And today I recieved a button, a poster, a calender, a signed card from all the donnas members, and a thank you for joining. that was so awesome, and sweeeeeeeeeet!!!!!
I mean why can't nessa do that?
that would be totally awesome.
I wish she would, the donnas sure take care of their fans

That's because the Donna's suck so badly that the music isn't enough to appease fans. They have to be bought with posters, calenders and signed cards ;)

they all are very pretty but they dont buy their fans.
thats why more and more VC fans are saying they are leaving and they have better things to do, I have not seen any fans of the donnas say that.

they are showing love for their fans, somehting VC doesn't, thats why she posts huh? oh wait, she never does anymore, because she forgot about us.

 Do you know what? If thats what you honestly think, i pity you. And if you are right; that Nessaholics are leaving because they don't get some cheap badge or poster then they certainly weren't any Nessaholics worth having in the first place and i pity them too.

Oh and Vanessa forgot us, right? Oh is that why more than 20 of them were invited to an exclusive concert to meet her and spend time with her? Oh please.

I was mainly joking around about the buying their fans thing. Although I do think that they suck, but each to their own, I'm not a recognised authority on music (but I should be dammit! ;)). Actually there was an underlying point behind my comment. I don't understand the attitude that a lot of fans have that their chosen artist owes them anything. They make a living by selling their music, I buy their CDs because I enjoy them and think that they are worth the money. Anything further is purely charity on behalf of the artist towards the fans. We didn't make Vanessa what she is, she did. If her CD sucked, I wouldn't have got it. She owes us nothing and we owe her nothing. If she signs autographs, give away posters, or posts on the board then that's great, but she's not obliged to.

Vanessa forgot her fans???  Vanessa doesn't show love for her fans???What planet are you on!  If you feel this way, why are you even here?  Last time I checked, this wasn't the VCMB.  If you want to say something constructive, fine.  But at least think about what you have to say first.

even when the donnas aren't on tour she they still write to their fans, talk to them, the shows are amazing!!!!!!!!
Maybe vc didn't forget about her fans, and so what if 20 people were brought to an exclusive meeting with her?
its not like she payed for it or anything, I've talked to many donnaholics and they have really told me wonderful stuff about the four girls.
the stuff they do with their fans is incredible. I dont see vc doing that, oh wow, a second album, so busy!

Alicia keys has a second album and she is still totally dedicated to her fans, so are the donnas and this like their fourth/fifth album already.

they dont buy their fans, and the things they give are wonderful. It makes the fans feel wanted and appreciated to be their fans.

okay, you are intitled to your own opinion. but let me just put my two cents in.....the night i saw Vanessa in concert was the best friggen night of my life. She was so in to the audience and spoke to these girls who were holding up signs during the concert. Afterwards, she even met everyone who wanted a pic or an auto. Emily gave her a letter asking he to send an auto to on of her friends, and not only did she do that but she sent a personalized letter to Emily as well. she didn't have to do these things. To me, this says a LOT about Vanessa and how much she really cares for her fans

and maybe she's so busy with her second album because she wants to make it the best she can. i'm willing not to have the majority of her attention for that. I think another thing you need to keep in mind is that the Donnas are a lot less popular than Vanessa...I'm sure they have a lot more time than Vanessa to do these things.

you said it sista! hehe... sheesh! I don't know about everyone else but I couldn't agree more with that, and she posts on her website to us (maybe not as often as we'd like but she still does!)  And.. shes more than willing to sign autographs or take pics after almost every show, please tell me how many artists do that... not THAT many! Shes great to her fans, but she does have a life of her own too...
