yes, the whole God thing is very questionable, and i don't like to be pushed either (and believe me living in "the bible belt" of the US isn't always the greatest thing when it comes to that)..and unless someone is like praying to satan, i think all religions (or choice of not having one) should be a respected thing...if it's not what you think (in terms of God) i think you should at the very least try to respect that persons' opinion.../rant before i just fill a whole post repeating the same sentence.

And i don't know whether i believe in God. I have a strong dislike of calling God 'him', and i have a strong dislike of the formality used in church- i hate people that talk down to me and preach. One of my best friends used to do that all the time, and say things like "No offence rosie, but you're not going to go to heaven if you're not a Christian." And i find that kind of arrogance unbearable.

  In philosophy we are doing arguments for the existence of God, its just hard when none of them actually work.

This is true. We cannot say God is real, there's no way to prove it (besides completely biased beliefs, (Creation which I believe strongly in, etc.) - which is a fun way to do things. Faith is there to test your strength! I think there's a Gospel or something of the sort where God tests someone, and He's all, "Yeah just to test you." You believeee God's out there, regardless if you have proof. Faith is proofless!

Was that good enough?

i agree. you don't have to be a certain organized religion to believe in God, or any higher power. My best friend is Agnostic. She doesn't like the whole organized religion thing. She just believes that there is a higher power somewhere, and whatever it is is laughing its ass off at us. Which i get, because doesn't it say in First Corinthians that God is not divided? I mean, really, who cares WHAT you are if you're basically worshiping the same God? .*stopbabbling*

its great to see some people believe in him here but regardless of the proof.....i don't need any because he's proved enough already and  i know he IS there...and i know someday he will come back ......

i have a really strong belief...
why some people i think are just afraid ....of some things..its not BS

I truly believe in god, yeah we can't see him, so what? that doesn't mean he's not there.

You dont have to see something to believe it, you should just believe and have faith that it does exist.

People want answers, so god can be the answer to how we got here. You won't know now, and you will find out soon. Maybe you do die and nothing further happens, no reincarnation, no after life. Who knows, maybe we will come back as animals. You'll find out when you die.
