So what are we suppose to do against Not being able to sit where we want on a freakin' bus. Or not being able to eat at the diner of our choice, or having hoses sprayed on us. Or having dogs relased against us for defending our rights?
YOU can sit anywhere on a bus. YOU can eat the dinner of your choice. YOU have never been sprayed by a hose LEGALLY by someone of authority. YOU have never had dogs released against you for defending your rights.
You are just as much the victim of that, as I am of the oppression of Indians by the English, the persecution of the Catholics by the Romans (and in the earlier Church by the Jews).
And Lauryn Hill PUBLICY said: "I hate white people."
That, in my opinion, is a bit on the racist side . . . But you know.
As a Catholic CeCe- you recieve relatively NO discrimination (if any) whereas black people, even these days, experience regular and daily discrimination.
Discrimination . . . UGH! Discrimination is giving scholarships to blacks BECAUSE they're black. Giving a job to someone BECAUSE they're a woman, or BECAUSE they're black or Asian or WHATEVER. It's ALL dsicrimination. I'll face probably MORE discrimination being a white Catholic in my lifetime than a HELL of a lot of blacks will. And that's BY the government. I'm just as tired of being discriminated against by the government as blacks were as tired of being discriminated against by the government.
