All I Ask --- Demo version. or Rinse version. ??

so... which version of All I Ask do you like better?

...I'd have to say the Demo version. because...well.... i like the way she sings it.."and all i ask" and that awesome ending piano thingy!!!..plus, the faster tempo is really cool! :D

sure the Version on her Rinse cd is great too... i love the violins[or whatever] in the backround! and the piano is perfect 8)  because this was done in studio where-as the demo tape version was done at like her home.
in fact...

wow... this is such a hard choice to make..
i guess i'll stick with the demo version... i just love the way she sings it.

I voted for the demo tape, but I like aspects of both versions.  I love the strings in the Rinse one, but I also love the scale she does at the end on the demo.  I also like the way she sings it a little differently, it's more connected on the demo.  When it all boils down though,  it's still the best song she's ever done.

All I Ask is in my top 3 favorites EVER from Vanessa, so I am going to go with the fuller, richer version on "Rinse". The Demo isn't the greatest quality, anyway.

Totally.

But I'm with the minority...I like the demo version better. It's just so raw, the vocals stand out more too and I love the trill thingys :D
