I know i go on about it, but i just actually couldn't believe the size of the portions there- it was just absoloutely mad. Like why would you want that much to eat!?

Anyway, i have weened myself completely off fizzy drinks and junk food (well almost the junk food!)- and now i drink only water, and i feel much better for it. I get really tired and i find that stopping junk food and fizzy drinks has really helped. I also east celery when i want junk food cos it has the same crunch you want from that craaap.

lol, the girl from Bend It Like Beckham, Parminder Nagra, her character on ER mentioned that about 'Americans and their large portions- everything is "supersized" ' and it's true with like 60% of the populaytion owerweight. -_-

lol, i saw that same episode!! the sad thing is, it's frighteningly true. Almost as much as how i just butchered spelling frighteningly :-P anywhose, i usually order half portions of everything, and get a salad. it's healthier, and more enjoyable. Especially for foods i really like, because if i really like something then i want to eat all of it and i usually end up making myself stuffed

I am going about to cut out all dairy and yeast for 2 weeks to see if i can stop myself from getting so ill constantly- my aunty recommended it, and what harm can it do? Dairy products are evil, Chinese people are fine without it!

Chinese people have weak bones and have a higher risk of osteoperosis.

That's why they are so small.

They say when you go to a restaurant, you can order what you'd like, but that you should immediately ask for a doggie bag and put half of the food in it.

That way you don't eat too much and you have dinner for two nights!
I think you underestimate the level of my sneakiness

I'm going on a diet really soon. This week I'm going to the doctor's, see what recommendations he makes and I'll start. I hope I manage to keep it cos the other times I've been on a diet I never lasted too long, but I'm confident this time, with doctor's control and all that.

there's only four seasons
and this one's almost gone
these nights feel so good
but this one's almost gone

i deffinatly think the best diet is just food in moderation and reasonably healthy. just use portion control. i dunno if that works for anyone else but it keeps me healthy...

Things are going crazy and I'm not sure who to blame...

Rosie, No Dairy = No Bones :-P and women have weaker bones naturally, so cutting out calcium is not a good idea. My mom has the really cool Viactive chews that have your daily serving of calcium, and they come in really good flavors like chocolate and caramel.

With Lent coming up I'm going to give up chocolate, and on days that i don't buy lunch i'm going to start bringing salads. Aaaaand I just bought a Pilates dvd at WalMart. Let the weight loss begin!  8)
