I know this thread says RECENT pictures... but I RECENTLY found an old stack of pictures of me, and this one CRACKS me up.

So I want other people to laugh at me too so I don't feel so lonely laughing at myself.

My hair actually looks a lot like that NOW. Hehe.

hahahahahahhahaahhahahhaahaha. oooh bowl cuts. i remember them back in the day. why we ever thought they could be considered fashionable is beyond my comprehension.

of course, for the better part of my childhood my mother insisted on having my hair cut like Keith Partridge, but we won't go there.  :razz:

That was not a bowl cut!  It was long on top and the sides were shaved and then the top just kind flopped down.  Parted in the middle.  It was grungy.  That was also right after I showered.  Normally it got all curly by mid afternoon

Bowl cuts are short... like ear length at the longest.

Edit @ Kev - You gotta love the glasses in that picture  Normally, I wore contacts.. but apparently that day I had my glasses.

Now check out the contrast.  Here is a picture of me 2 years later.

Edit:  Also, Keith, you aren't old enough to remember that era, but this was still 90's.  Grunge was in full swing.  Guys with long hair was the fuckin rage.  Go back and watch 90's TV shows and movies.  It was all about the long hair with the part down the middle.  The wavier the better.

Trust me, it was the girls I was dating who convinced me to cut my hair like that.  You think *I* have an opinion either way?

And I look skinny there, but you gotta remember I was a competitve swimmer all the way up till age 18 so I was pretty well built.  HS girls loved that.
