These electives sound pretty weird! Are they supposed to be fun? Here we HAVE to choose an activity like first aid, sign language and there are a whole load of sports to choose from- i have managed to get away with not having one for 2 terms now! wahey!

btw, pyschology is an elective!? I take that as a serious subject!

ummm... it's between chior and ceramics! i think because i hate my vocal teacher and loved my ceramics, ceramics was an overall better expirience for me.
I also love my Forensic Science class as well!
i'm techincally taking 6 electives, cause English and Gov are the only classes i need to take to graduate!
Forensics, Religion (ok, for my school this is mandatory, but not for most), Pre-Calculus, Physics, Film and Vocal Technique!

for the most part electives are fun - you choose to take them. Like my friend Shyamia who's taking a Historical Films class - they just watch movies that deal with historical periods and then discuss them. Incredibley easy course.

In my school you're required to take at least one elective as a freshman in either music or art - but that's all. Our semestering is weird so there's not much time to fit a lot of electives in. We're required to take four years of math, science, history, and english, language, and physical education.

in my school we are required to take 2 electives in the arts and 2 years of PE. But we have to take many extra classes because we're not allowed to have less than 7 classes unless we have a good exuse not to! like right now i'm taking 8 classes and only need 2 of them. my school is insane!

Most people at my school take 6 classes. I take 8. That is zero period, plus 1-6. Then I have classes elsewhere on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4-7 PM.

You guys have a 0 period also!? I thought mine was the only one, lol. I take 0 period just because I wanted to be in the same Economics class I was last semester but my other English class conflicted with that class & Choir, so I decided to take English 0 period & keep Choir & my Economics class. Then I get to have early release & leave right after lunch. So it's workin out pretty well!

Tho 0 period starts at like 6:20 in the morning, I have to wake up at like 5:15 every morning so that's kind of hard, but I've been getting used to it!

The only electives I've had this year are Drama & Choir, here's my schedule this semester since everybody else is posting theirs, lol

0 period English

1st period Algebra (yes I'm still in Algebra, I sucked at Math in highschool, but this year I've been getting A's & B's, so thats pretty good)

2nd period Choir

3rd period Life Science (yes the counseling corner could be better, I don't know why I'm taking this my Senior year, but oh well)

4th period Drama

5th period Economics

Lunch/early release

Yeah so I have kind of a weird schedule. The only classes I have with all Seniors is English & Economics, the rest are mixed classes. My school is insane also.

I have to take art

but since I have hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating of my hands and feet)

I wont be able to draw or sketch

so I'm gonna take an online Art Class!!!  :D

its so cool

I like art..
i'm taking a few art classes next year to make up for the lack of art throughout high schooool.. i've missed out.. i did take fashion for half of this year.. but it was not nearly enough! blah .. that's only one thing i wish i did more of..

however, my favorite elective would have to be ap spanish..

i don't know.. maybe art and spanish are equally my favorite..

i depends on the class - there isn't any in historical films, but i had one for psychology. If you take AP classes, then you have to take the AP exam, which is uber hard.

Well for Drama we just finished auditions for our final that we perform before the Seniors leave for classes that come in the theater to watch us, so that is basically our exam if you want to call it that, or final.

For Choir last semester we just had a written test I think, & had to sing in front of the teacher buy ourselves. I don't have a clue what we're doing this semester. Probably somewhat of the same thing.

I'm not sure about the other classes, I've only been in Drama & Choir this year.
