I just talked to Let and she said she was standing in line waiting to get in and had already talked to VC! I'm so stoked for her and the others there! :D

YAY! (you didn't hear that  )

Plus TLA is a hotbed for concert rips anyway... I've seen mad shows listed on sites by many different artists at TLA that got booted there... *hopes* lol.

I agree with Nicole(ILoveHanson).  This was perhaps my favorite VC show.  She has improved immensely as a singer.  Her voice is stronger and she has more control over it.  One of the things I used to notice at shows of hers is that her voice would begin to get raspy around 30 mins. into most shows.  This didn't happen at tonight's show, and she sang superbly.

Interesting things include the "divide and conquer" lyrics in OD, which everyone likes but me, and how she pointed out that some girls actually can be nasty to guys before Rinse(I applauded heartily).
My personal highlights of the show were "Annie", "Afterglow", "Half a Week Before The Winter", "Swindler", and "Morning Sting".

I missed out on the meet n greet.  Apparently there are only 100(or less) CD's sold at the beginnning of shows chosen for such a thing, so keep that in mind if you are going to a show. To be accurate, it is only the inside artwork(not the disc) and a voucher which can be redeemed later at a record store (FYE I believe).

LovePlasticLove Nicole and I waited nearly 45 minutes to get out of the local parking garage.  It was your basic "look at the ass end of the car in front of you and wonder wtf is going on" moments.  No one was moving.  Horns were honking and people were getting out of their cars and yelling all kinds of unmentionable things and threatening to call the cops as they walked up to the cashier's booth, which I imagine was NOT the place to be.
Suddenly, we heard this big CRRRAAAACCKKK and then we saw cars driving out.....someone had BROKEN OFF the exit gate!  I was just about to rejoice and tear ass outta there when a cop on a bike showed up. RATS!
I gave the guy the money and got the hell out of there before the 5-0 wanted a statement or God knows what from me.

Hey, when you least expect it, expect it!
