what a song, with all the instruments arund her voice and the piano,..oh, it's so brilliant. Today it's the first time I listened to it, and I don't understand why is not in Harmonium, it's so great.

"Rinse" wasn't really a seperate album, it was the working title for "Be Not Nobody".

What is now commonly known as "Rinse" is the collection of pre-BnN studio demos (most of which were on the "demo tape & assorted rarities CD" that me and Grakthis distributed a while back). "All I Ask" was one of those demos and didn't make it onto the final BnN.

Dors anyone know how old Vanessa was when she recorded the demo tape? I've been listening to Carnival, Superhero, and All I Ask lately and she sounds really young, especially in All I Ask. If anyone could answer it would be appreciated. Thanks!

The songs you're refering to are from Rinse and she was 19-20 while that was made.

I dont know the time frame for the demo tape(s).

All I Ask is truthfully a very pretty song, might be one of the nicest songs of all time, even though I could never choose. Such beautiful lyrics and melody. She must have put a lot of heart into it.

It's funny in my case... I love ALL I ASK from RINSE ALBUM, But I don't like from TAPE DEMO... Only FACES, LITTLE MARRY and DEVIL DANCE are the best
