What you're assuming, though, is that you marry someone just for the sex, which I hope is not true for most people.

I've done that many times.  I'd just pick them up at the store in a rush making sure they are the right size and are what I want them to look like on the outside.  The same could apply for picking someone up from the bar, really. How many times have you done that at a bar, right size, looks good, ok....lets go?

I don't have a problem with sex before marriage, but I'm a BIG believer in contraceptives though.  Several forms all at once.  I can't wait for the male pill.  I really can't.  What is 99.9%(female pill) of 99.9%(condom) of 99.9%(male pill)?

:idea: I personally don't believe that there's any such thing as premarital sex according to the Bible.  God instituted marriage, but He never sanctioned a particular rite or ceremony to begin it.  In the earliest times, the man simply went in to where the woman was on the night of their "wedding" and joined her, and from that moment they were husband and wife.  So basically, I believe you are married to everyone you've ever had sex with, whether legally or not.  Think about that. 8O

I may be too much of an old thinker for my own good, but for me, sex is like the ultimate expression of love for another person, which is why I don't personally feel it should be used as casually as it is, and though I don't fault those doing it, I mean it's a free world, I just personally see it that way. Now, if you look enough you'll note that you can love someone that way without being married, and in that case, I would have premarital sex, but other than that, probably not............and since I don't drink it only solidifies that, no "boo boos" :wink:

Not JUST for the sex because let's face it, the easiest way to kill sex in your relationship is to get married but sex is definitely a part of the marriage. If you're planning to give up variety in your sex life (which is what marriage entails) you'd better be damn sure it's worth it.
