I'll tell you everythiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiingggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg!!

I <3 the live version. I was feelin' the album version, but the live version just owns it so hard.

... I like the last answer though, too

the added lyrics are great.

It's a pasta-bility, right Katia :D, that I like the live version more than the CD.

baahwahhahahahahahaha

it is all about the pasta-bilities!!!! :) :)

I really like the removal of:
catch me not,
can't call me later,
Morning's risin'

and the replacement with:
I'm keeping secrets at midnight
and if there ever was a right time
I'll tell you everything on my mind
I'll tell you everything

Then as I was justifying the fact that I have no life last night, i was thinking since Private Radio is a pretty short song anyway, that I'd like to hear a version where the ending is a combination of the old and the new... like:
I'm keeping secrets at midnight
and if there ever was a right time
I'll tell you everything on my mind
I'll tell you everything

All the world has gone to bed
And there's a sound inside my head
And in the dark inside my bed
And the melody inside my head

(When the night comes)
There's a part of me no one will never know
(And no one knows)
And midnight comes and I know I'm on my own
(I can feel it)
There's a part of me no one will ever see
(I've got my private radio)
There's a part of me no one will ever leave be

My private radio
(badda dup badda dup badda dada dada)
My private radio
(badda dup badda dup badda dada dada)
Keeping secrets at midnight
(badda dup badda dup badda dada dada)
I'll tell you everything on my mind
(badda dup badda dup badda dada dada)
I'll tell you everything

You never know, I may get to hear it like that... it is a pasta-bility!!! :)

Or bomb-diggity as Vanessa would refer to her live version of Private Radio :P

I'm sure the MP3 will get shared around for those yet to catch it in concert

I haven't heard it live yet, so hopefully in a week I can answer that question!
It is a crime to kill a neighbor, and an act of heroism to kill an enemy.  But who is an enemy and who is a neighbor is purely a matter of social definition.  - E.R. Leach

Now that I've heard the live version, I can say that I love both. I know the live version will continue to grow on me, though, whereas the CD one has probably reached its peak. :)

Private Radio was definitely the first song off Harmonium that I fell in love with, but the live version is even cooler! Although I will admit that it does sound kinda funny with the backing track because it's like two Vanessa's in the same room.
