Traveling is one of my favorite things in the world...yes, it pretty much ties with seeing V in concert (yes, shame on me!! oh the horrors!)

I know some of you haven't been able to travel as much as you would like cause of money or your parents...I was just wondering how many and which countries other than your native country have you been to?

I live in the US and I have been to: Belize, Mexico,  Guatemala, Canada, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and France. This summer I'm going to: Ecuador again, Peru, Brazil, and Bolivia.

Really good poll idea!!!!

Besides my native US, sadly I've only been to Canada... which wasn't exciting at all. I pray that this Europe trip that's being talked about falls through... I need to experience the world!!!

I've only been to Canada too.  I don't have any plans to go anywhere else yet, but if I get the opportunity, I'll go to England, Australia, and New Zealand.  I don't really think I'd want to go anywhere else, and it's not because of the language barrier.

Only Canada, and only for a day.

I'd love to hit Europe at some point, and some of the South American countries, specifically Peru

I've been to Canada and Mexico. The Europeans have an unfair advantage in all this. Their countries are the size of our states, especially out west :-P.

If you count the states I've been to as nations, the number rises to 15.

Well yeah, now if you want to include states, I've been to...

Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri,  Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oiho, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Plus the District of Columbia and Ontario, which aren't states.

Well if we are doing states...

34: Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, D.C., West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida

Yes, I told you I am a crazy traveler...

While it is pretty easy to go from country to country if you live in Europe, I think it is easier to go from state to state. Besides, it is much more fun when the next place over speaks a different language and the culture is so different. Which is why I thought countries was an interesting topic. Yes, I technically know you can do this from one neighborhood to the other in just NYC but it is still completely different experience to go to a different country. I think you receive a whole knew perspective on humanity and your entire world view changes.

btw, I sincerely apologize if this seems like I am bragging cause I really don’t mean to be. For me it is just fun to find out where everyone has traveled.

Bah! States don't count people. You've made your federal bed, so you'll lie in it.

Mine: England, Scotland, Wales, France, Belgium, Germany, USA and hopefully Spain soon :-)

You said states don't count. Well.. then I say England, Scotland, and Wales don't count. You've been in the UK. :-P

FYI: All of the 13 original colonies were originally independent nations after the American Revolution. California and Texas were also independent nations before they joined the US.
