ANNA KOURNIKOVA, MICHELLE PHILLIPS, GABRIELLE UNION and VANESSA CARLTON are among the celebrities getting naked for the new issue of US magazine JANE.

The women appear with their breasts and genitals carefully covered for the summer 2005 mag, dubbed the Bare Issue.

Carlton reveals she loves getting naked: "I like the area where my butt meets my thigh and I like the size of my boobs - they're small and I don't have to wear a bra."

Meanwhile, former MAMAS + THE PAPAS star Phillips admits she feels "lucky" when she sees herself naked, and actress Union insisted on wearing her beloved JIMMY CHOO shoes for her naked shoot.

Sorry, but it's just... V can do what she wants with her body. If people are going to start freaking out and calling her skanky then I just wouldn't want to associate with them anymore. People get so judgemental about stuff like that.
Guess what? WE'RE ALL NAKED UNDER OUR CLOTHES! It kills me that in America nakedness is so taboo because it's JUST NAKED. If Adam and Eve hadn't eaten that Goddamned (literally) fruit, we wouldn't know the difference and naked wouldn't be a problem.

I'm sorry but I have to agree with Dora here. I have no problem with Nessa being naked (or almost naked if the case may be) if that is her decision. I just have a problem with female singers always thinking they need to take their clothes off or be almost naked to sell CDs. It's not fair, male singers don't do this as much...yes I know that could be considered a stereotype so I am trying to write this so it doesn't seem like it. *sigh* But look at all the cover's of guys albums and look at girls and you will find with the *majority* (not all of course!!) of girls show more skin than guys. And sometimes guys even only have a girl showing skin on their album instead of a pic of the band. Same goes for music videos. I know, I know guys will show some skin, but I really think it is more common for girls to do it to sell records.

This is something I *really* liked about Nessa. She is always making fun of other stars for posing naked or almost naked to sell records or do concerts because she thinks she doesn't need to do that to be a good artist. I really respect that about her. I hope I still will once I see this Jane magazine. It sounds tasteful so I am hopeful.
