Yeah, her first fans were older like me but they seem to be all ages now.
Saw her again last night in San Francisco at The Fillmore (SOLD OUT.) She is headling the Vh1 You Oughta Know Tour with A Fine Frenzy. Here the review I posted at AT.com
Seriously, I thought last weekend's House Concert was amazing (well it was) but this was freakin' fantastic. Sooo much energy in that room. It was crazy! There was the usual SF banter and loudness which can be annoying but is funny. The best one was the dude that said, "My wife thinks you're hot!" After Brandi was done laughing she said something like, is it ok if I say, I think your wife is hot?
Yeah so many new songs and damn if I thought the song was called, "That Day." She said the show was supposed to be done but she wasn't getting off stage. I was so happy she included it in her set. I did hear some sniffling. It was even more beautiful than last weekend.
I was really happy there was a poster. For those that don't know, The Fillmore almost always (never figured out why there wasn't one last show with IG) gives you a poster commemorating the show as you leave.
I was also surprised to see Brandi outside signing autographs after the Eugene review. She did go in the bus (it is seriously right outside the front door) but came back out to sign for everyone else. This is how great she is. She was about to get on the bus and said, "Is that everyone?" Amazing. She really is great.
