Is it just me, or does the one on the right look like a cross between Shakira and Natalie Maines?

Blah...it's not my thing...they're like Maverick's version of the Donnas...I don't like them either.

Here are the live acoustics...  keep in mind they're not the best recordings.. from what I saw... VH1 put them in really dead room with 1 mic for all of them and their instruments and said here play something.. I did my best to get good quality caps...

I gave em a listen. I must agree, I hear a lot of Avril in there. But thats not nessisiarily a bad thing. But just means I need to hear more studio tracks before making a final determination.
And the two sisters.... hotties! I cant tell which I like better.

Thanks for the headsup Jason!  :)

OK OK... confession time... since I don't "really" listen to any avril...  i guess i really can't shoot down the comparison...

but they switch leads if not within the songs then definitley between songs... so sadly what your saying is they all sound like Avril? :(

FYI... Tomorrow and Quicksand have different girls singing (Tomorrow is Tahsa, Quicksand is Louise)...  and It's About Time switches between them...

Hummm...sounding like Avril or not, that is the question!
In my opinion, I don't think they sound like Avril. (and I've listened to a LOT of Avril!)
For some reason, I have the feeling that their music is more elaborated, I don't know why...
I'm gonna have to hear the rest of the album to be fair  8)

"The Matrix" (production team) produced some of their songs, I think... and they worked w/ Avril on her record.

Personally not diggin' their sound, but that's just me :)

Thanks :)

Lillix is #9 on Carson Daly's Most Requested on KIIS-FM Los Angeles tonight.  It didn't make JoJo's Top 9 though.

Well.. I'm glad they're getting some play time.. I really do like their sound...  I know it doesn't fit everyone but I'm a sucker for happy pop.  (and pretty faces???) :)

anyone here signed up for their backstage team over on their site?  if so could I drop your name?  I'm trying to get an "in" with their site manager over there and maybe get some pre release hook ups...

Never pass up good opportunities to support ont he ground floor i guess.. lol

Jason,

Yep... I joined it, as highwaycruiser.  :)

They are still doing well on KIIS-FM and make it to JoJo's Top 9 at 9 and Carson Daly's most requested every night now.  For the first time, they've made it on the CHR/Pop chart as well, as a "New & Active" song.

Their song was played 626 times on 62 radio stations last week!
