If its a good girl band you're looking for, check out Halo Friendlies. They're awesome. I won't comment on Lillix. Sorry.

They look like a wannabee Lillix. But I won't say anything else until I have a listen to their music.

Halo Friendlies first album came out in 1998...so...they were around first.

And scab and heal and bleed again
And turn every scar into a joke
We are made to fight
And f**k and talk and fight again
And sit around
And laugh until we choke"

It was mostly the first single that got Lillix compared to Avril, similarly to how everyone thought Evanescence was Linkin Park with a female lead because of "Bring Me to Life".

In both cases, pretty much every other song on the CD is different than the inital single. I am not feeling the Lillix CD as much as I thought I would, but it isn't horrible. So-so I'd say. I should probably listen to it a bit more and see if it grows on me  :?

Yeah, I love Avrils music (most of it) but just the way she's been rude to people, is the only thing I don't like about her, and why I hate her so much, LOL

I'm finally listening to the album.
I'm not totally sold on it, but its not bad. I could see them making it big on TRL.
I'll keep the album for sure, give it a few more listens.

yep.. the Avril comparisons i blame 100% on Matrix's producing... the 2 songs on the CD that they produced do sound very much like Avril.  I hear it now that I've had a chance to listen to the whole CD a couple times.  When they get to the other producers you can hear more of the girls' edgier sound come out and that's where they really get to shine...

So really I wouldn't base them solely on the Matrix produced tracks.. give the whole CD a listen...

Very well said Jason!  8)

I can't believe it...now they are being compared to the dixie chicks!! They have been called "the baby dixie chicks" or something like that, dang...oh well. I still like them no matter who they get compared to, Haha

I'm still waiting for my Autographed CD flat...I have to email the Eteam to find out when it's supposed to come...

WHOA! STOLEN GUITAR RIFF!!!
Listen to the opening of "Promises" and then listen to the opening of "3 Doors Down - Be Like That"
They're identical!

I like them a lot. I haven't many of there songs because I'm still checkin' them out but from what I've heard I've liked. Maybe when I get some money I'll buy their cd.

I could almost sing 'Complicated' along to 'Its about Time'. Nonetheless i do like it and some of their slower, more meaningful songs have got me hooked ( i.e 24/7). Are there any other songs like that on the album?
