"Ordinary Day" will always be my favourite <3 But I love playing "Home" too..I need to learn "More Than This"! (is there a transcription somewhere?)

I love playing Ordinary Day too. But when I play it, my right hand plays the voice melody of the song. So it's like an instrumental of it.

I love playing Home and More Than This. But I like to play these with earphones plugged into my ears.

Home was one of the first ones I learned. I still have some trouble with the ending of the outro though, but I try my best.  I've never actually tried to play the piano while listening to the songs though. I sometimes use a metronome to keep me in time. Is there any one song that you guys are proud of being able to play? Even though it's not my favorite song, I'm pretty proud of the fact that I can play A Thousand Miles, because it impresses all my non-V fans for some reason!

i think the education is different.

How is the education different? My friend just moved to Canada for college, and she says the education is different as well, but what exactly does that mean? Like different standards and stuff? Probably the history is different because it's from another place, as well as from another perspective.

happy new year!  It's going to be an epic one for us V fans.  We've been waiting patiently, now the year has arrived, we just have to wait for the season..

Ooooh, Afterglow is a good one too. Very soothing. I love to play the bridge. It sounds so haunting. Tall Tales is another one of my favorites right now. I try to play it everyday so I can get better at it. Even though it's super repetitive, I love it. I wish I had a real piano too, though. I have a keyboard, and the notes don't sustain for very long, so the songs don't sound as good as they could, but they sound alright in my head.

I had a dream last night that Vanessa was helping me learn how to play "Tall Tales For Spring" on the piano! I've been learning it for a while now, but I just can't get the last two pages down for some reason. Anyway, I didn't see her in the dream but she kept replaying those last two pages for me so I could learn to play both hands at the same time. So this morning, after I ate breakfast, I went to the piano to try to work out that part again, and I could play it! I thought that was really cool. I wish I could have seen her though.

I have never even given LL a chance really..I don't want to feed into her hype and contribute to her drug habit.  Generally, if I hear something I like, I research the artist a little then usually get stuck on that person/group for months.  I rarely listen to the radio! So I'm glad I've gotten some input from otherss on a different thread of artist to check out.  Thanks all!

Oh my gosh, I totally do that too! I like to know some background about the artist before I start buying. I don't listen to the radio either because they never play what I want to hear. I have an ipod instead.
