Holy shit, it's definately a hot track, I love the percussion throughout the song. This song's definately a risk though, especially with the lyric scheme - people might be inclined to say, "Wtf?" upon first listen, haha.

For some reason, with all the effects and plays on her voice, especially during the begining of the bridge, I can't help but think of Imogen Heap.
And it's bad news, baby it's bad news
It's just bad news, bad news, bad news
'Cause you're just damage control
For a walking corpse like me - like you,
'Cause we'll all be portions for foxes
Yeah, we'll all be portions for foxes.

It's true. We got rid of all those clones a crazed fan made for his own personal use.

My 2 cents:  LOVE the song.  I definitely think it's catchy enough to potentially be successful on the radio, even though the lyrics are odd.  There have been some straaaaange hit singles.  I think people generally care more about the melody than the lyrics.

I knew there was a thirty second snippet floating around about Vanessa's new single Nolita Fairytale, I found the full version of the song below. Really sorry if the song was posted already.

Thanks! =]

I like the song.  For a second or two after she said "take away my record deal," I thought it was a joke. Haha

I don't think this is single material, though. I don't think this song is single material at all. I don't know. We'll see won't we?

see, no chorus would be cool. i mean, take 3eb's motorcycle driveby.. it's basically a line of thought/poem type of thing.. the only thing you could possibly call a chorus, would be "i've never been so alone, and i've  been so alive.. and it's an amazing song. a fan favorite.

but not a single...

I like it. I can't see it playing on the radio, though. However I can totally picture myself singing to it with the windows down in my car.

I like it so much better now. I love that it sounds a bit like a martial band in parts.

God. Where do I start. This song is absolutely amazing. It's just exactly how I imagined it. I must admit I thought it would be slightly repetitive but I don't think that at all. I love the breakdown where she says, "Want a garden". Wow. And who says it doesn't sound like John Mayer?

It's priceless. Awesome. I love it. Thank God.

FYI, I merged the first single topic with the song topic just to maintain continuity  :)

I haven't heard House either. I think it's one of those tracks which only a few privilleged people have heard - like Spring Street.

Vanessa played "House" during her soundcheck at the Giant showcase back on Oct 2006.
Only blueglove and I were there and he has the audio that he didn't want to share back then (there was a heated discussion about it).
End of story.

I'm on it. Give me a week and I'll get it

Will you marry me?
you are a legend!

Who wouldn't? Of course.

B, I realised. I thought you deleted it for a second then for copyright infringments.
