The "I have the album" thread

I went to Best Buy to get the album, and I now have it.  

While I was in the store they played Nolita Fairytale on their overhead music thing. I was like  :!:  :!:  :dances: and went to stand directly underneath one of the speakers, LOL.

My Best Buy is lame. I didn't see it. (I saw The Story and One Cell in the Sea though.  :wink:  ) I asked, the dude checked his computer which said he had 12. After going to the back, he brought it out.  :roll: It was only $9.99!

I actually looked at One Cell in the Sea! haha. I ended up buying Colbie Caillat's Coco because it was $7.99.

i have to say, it's been a REALLY long time since i've felt the rush of being a nessaholic. but i bought the album today and i feel like reborn haha. i love it so much. i feel like vanessa has really grown and the music is the best yet.

definitely a bigger fan of side 2.
i was SO dissapointed with what they did with Hands on Me.... WHAT was she thinking? i nearly cried with disappointment because it was my favorite song so far.

Heroes and Thieves is my favorite track at the moment. I love the artwork.

bought the album at amoebas, and i gotta say its the best work that she has ever done, she is the reason why i listen to music IRV was right she the motherfucking shit! it makes me happy to know that she is still young and she has many good years and songs ahead fo her

i totally agree.  i wasn't too happy with many of the songs that i already knew, and i still am not a huge fan of "nolita fairytale."

but "home" and "more than this"?  i LOVE them.  it's just so freaking surreal, to have a NEW vanessa album.  so many new songs to take in at once!  it's...it's...it's overwhelming haha.  as i've mentioned before, i've been a fan since be not nobody, on the VCMB.  

and this is simply insane.  i need to vanessa rant!  none of my friends get it!  and so i return to the boards :-)

I went to target this morning on the east coast, they had 3 copies out -- i bought all three.

Then i looked through the cd booklet while on the flight home to Cali.

It is a great CD, i love it.  I also love the shout out to the Nessaholics... Vanessa is very sweet.

I bought one copy at Best Buy today.

My newbury comics copy came in the mail, but I opened it after I got back from my evening class.

Her signature looks like a "W" but I was still in awe.

I think its great, some songs I need to give a few listens but overall the first time I listened to it, I cried. It was really beautiful.
