I'd say Tall Tales for Spring would be in the same place as 'This Time' from H&T. Fairweather Friends would be first, and I Don't Wanna Be A Bride would be maybe 6th? xD TTFS isn't really an opening song.

wow, i really see tall tales for spring as an opening song. i can't see any other song (of the ones we know) as an opening song, except fair-weather friends :)

Hehe, I just think she'd save the darker songs for the middle. In Harmonium, Half A Week Before The Winter was seventh in line.. In Heroes and Thieves there were no 'dark' songs per say, but This Time was 7th. Oh, and Paradise was seventh in Be Not Nobody.

It's a stretch and kind of a conspiracy theory, but that's the darkest song we've seen so far. xD I'd love Fairweather Friends to open it up, anyhow. It's my favorite. <3

FWF is my favorite, too. I hope it's first.  :) I think TTFS should be last. I dunno--it depends on the lyrical content of each song.

Among the songs we know I can only see London as the opening track, though it wouldn't be my favourite choice.

she said at the concert that Carousel is the seventh song! She said "every album has an arc" and Carousel is the arc for ROTR

Material for this album was produced by Steve Osborne (U2, B-52’s, KT Tunstall), and was recorded in the UK at the well-renowned Real World Studios.

FYI, Real World Studios is owned by Peter Gabriel. And, it looks as if this has *not* been VC's first solo production if the above is true.  Maybe she gave it a shot and decided to relinquish the controls?

GreatEST songs. Best batch of songs ever made by V. I feel proud of her. Such a beauty.

And look. There are many of us in here right now.
