If she actually promoted this, it could almost be as big as Million Miles. I could hear this is a lot of movies and shopping malls.

I'm disappointed they don't offer any HQ download of the song (like .flac or .wav). I tweeted the label and they said only regular DSPs. Boo.

Someone posted that Amazon's mp3 is like 192 kbps vbr? Meh, that's pretty low quality. And I don't do itunes. I don't know what to do, I'm not sure a LQ mp3 is worth .89 euros... Why can't we get a physical single?

Comparing this to A thousand miles?? No way... I think the only way this song (and album) could be a huge success is if people finally see her as a grown-up artist who sings for a mature audience. The fact that she signed with Razor and Tie is already a good sign I want V to have a Norah Jones-like career This album is gonna be my favorite thing in the world. Can't wait for summer!! I usually don't but this time it's different

Oh and I really need to play this song on the piano. Were the sheets already done for this?

On Amazon, the encoder settings are actually VBR -V0. We can't have a better quality with the LAME encoder and a CBR is unnecessary. There is a free format of mp3 which allow higher bit rate values (such as 640 kbps) but has limited player support. I don't know for iTunes but it might be an AAC audio (m4a). With a similar bit rate, I think that the AAC codec is better than the MP3.

My itunes file is 256kbps AAC m4a as you said. I dont think we can expect more at this point Ghisy :S

I completely agree with that. What a way to dumb down music quality, huh? Vanessa recorded this album on analog tape and we get LQ mp3s, what is wrong with the world?  

@Weisz, thanks for your feedback. We won't get better, Razor & Tie confirmed it to me.

If you use Firefox, try the "ctrl + F5" trigger, it's used to force an update, disregarding any cache.

I set 'Carousel' as my ringtone!
while working in my computer I heard the song playing
but the intro kept coming and coming
and I was like: OMG! its suck in my head

haha it was the phone!
I missed like 5 calls

conclusion:
Dont set up carousel as your ringtone!
