I love the preview! Although, I think the sound is a little strange. I don't know whether it's my computer, but there is a tin-can kind of sound when I listen to the preview, as if she recorded it in a makeshift studio that doesn't quite have everything sealed up from outside noise. It's sounds kind of like a perfected live version. I guess because she recorded on analogue? 

I hear the 'strange' sound as well, which I was alluding to in some of my other posts, I just didn't know how to describe it..  it might be the analogue.  I think it will take some getting used to, but I still think it sounds beautiful.  I think it also helps give the dreamy quality, which someone else had mentioned -- which was what Vanessa said she was going for.  As a whole, and considering everything, I think it's perfect.

Okay, thanks. Then it's definitely not just my computer, then. I'll have to wait until it's released and I buy it on iTunes to see how the song sounds all the way through. I hope the whole album doesn't have that weird sound, though. It's kind of distracting, to be honest.

same here. i totally have this "perfect live version" feeling, but i'm sure the album quality is way better. amazon previews often have that weird sound.

That was absolutely beautiful!!
Very different from the live versions, and different than I expected, but I love it.
I've been replaying that clip over and over... it's amazing.
Literally took my breath away the first time I listened.
Can it be May 3rd so I can hear the whole thing already???
I can't wait for this album to come out.

I hope I am not the only one that is glad she left Irv. I just felt her being with Irv was kind of out of place for what Irv promotes. Plus he just seems annoying :/.

i was thinking this too! they really seem to be dedicated and doing right by her, interacting with the fans as well. I have a feeling this era will be a good thing for V and this is the label for her.

Awww, the preview sounds great! I still need to watch allll the live videos from the last couple of shows but I like what I'm hearing. Harmonies are beautiful, everything seems to be stripped down. I seriously have tears in my eyes right now, it's been so long since we didn't get new studio music from V.

what is talk stoop? I saw that term somewhere recently..
