I absolutely HATE all commercials. Except for that Doritos one with ENrique a while back.

Oh, and those ones they showed during the All-Star game with Mr. Derek are okay in my book. ;)

Consider yourself one of the most blessed human beings ever.

Here in South Carolina, just about every commercial set, on almost any station.

You will see, usually a black and white commercial, with some guy saying, I used to think if I wanted a good burger I would have to go to the mom and pops diner down town. One day I was passing by Hardees and just decided that I would stop there and try their burgers. Hardees used to be the last place on my list to get a burger, those thin little patties with hardly any lettese. I was in love with the burger when I ate it.

And then they start yacking about 3/4 pound of anguse beef, "Hardees, where the last place you'd go to get a burger will now become the first."

And every time, it's just a slight veriation of that with a different person and a slightly different story.

Believe him?
« Reply #68 on: July 25, 2003, 02:39:28 pm »
Which story of his should I believe?

First, he says nothing has happened and he's innocent.

Second, he says he did in fact have sex with the alleged victim.

Third, I'm waiting to see what his next version of it will be. I suppose it will all depend on how much evidence there is against him.

Some posts say this woman is seeking fame. Sounds like Kobe's type of girl. Let's not forget that he took Brandy to her high school prom. He appears to have a thing for women who are or want to be singers.

Believe him, no. I would not believe Kobe Bryant told me the sky was blue on a clear day.

Kobe has never said "nothing" happened.  I don't know where you get this BS from.  You just make up facts?  All he ever said before charges were filled is that he did nothing illegal.  ONce charges were filled he admited that he had consensual sex with her.

Why did he wait?  Would you admit something like that publicly if you didn't have to?  If they dont file charges, he has no reason to admit it.  And frankly, it's none of our business.

Lets see the facts as they stand RIGHT now....  At 11, the girl gets off work and CALLS Kobe.  Kobe then calls his wife at 11:15.  At 12:30 someone orders a movie from Kobe's room.  Apparently they were done by then.

Then at NOON the next day, the girl goes to the police and then to the hospital where tests are taken from Kobe and from the girl.  Tests will likely confirm they had sex.  Apparently there is some bruising that occured as well, but theres no way to verify WHEN this occured.

Does this sound like a rape situation? It sounds to me like she CLEARLY went to his room to have sex with him.  IT even sounds like things were CLEARLY cosensual all the way through them sitting together and watching a movie.  The only question in MY mind is if she started going NUTS and she and Kobe got into a fight afterwards over some dumb shit she said, and at some point there was a skuffle and she ends up with bruised arms or something.

And now there are apparently TWO suicide attempts on this girls record!  TWICE she Od'd in the last year!  Not a shot in hell a jury will convict based on this evidence, and anyone who thinks otherwise is dellusional or psyhic.

I <3 Andrew

I also believe that he did not rape her.However... I do think cheating is a nasty thing.  Andrew even knows that I would never want ANY part in it. Right Andrew?

Also... I feel awful for his wife, Vanessa.  It must be really hard dealing with your husband cheating on you...let alone all the media.

Nah... with a history like that, the prosecution is apt to press statutory rape charges because she couldn't give consent anyway.

Well, don't feel so bad for Vanessa.  They were married in CA which is a 50/50 state.  Which means right off the top if she wants to divorce him she walks away with half.  And maybe more depending on she plays it.

Trust me, if she stays with him then shes gonna be the one running that relationship for a while and if she leaves him she gets RICH and no one blames her for it.  Either way she wins.
