Only "Bring Me To Life" has the Linkin Park vibe cause they got Paul from the 12 Stones to guest on it. Download "My Immortal" & "Imaginary" which will show you other sides of their music.

HI!

Well... i just got back from NYC... drove up with a friend.  Got to listen to Evanescence - BMtL 7 times on the way up and back (radio stations... not bad).  One of the radio stations commented on how they sound like Linkin Park -- pissed me off.  Also when they introduce the song they never say "featuring Paul McCoy."  I wish they would grow a brain and realize that it's just Amy in 99.9% of the songs AND even the version of BMtL without Paul sounds 100x better.  what a pisser...

on to great news tho... check it out... Evanescence won Cool Band of the Week.. check it out http://www.coolbandoftheday.com/

Once upon a time they had a really dumb band name and were looking for something new.
Ben is the creative type... he liked the letter "E" cause he could do several artistic designs with it. So they litterally took a dictionary and browsed through the E's and came across "Evanescent", Amy especially liked the meaning behind it: a ghostly fading away type of thing. And so they took the plural of it and thus became "Evanescence".
