I like afterglow.
I like Twilight too.
They both have similar themes, but

given sunrise or sunset, I find sunRISE to be far more inspirational.
When I watch the sun rise over water, it's then I feel alive and like I want to accomplish things, and be a better person.
it's a new day that holds so much promise and possiblilities!
Like I can accomplish anything!

Whereas sunset, twilight, I find depressing. Like the day is finished, and I have to wait til the next for anything to be done.

I wonder why Vanessa is inspired by dusk not dawn

It was REALLY hard to choose between "Whos To Say" and "Annie", but I think Annie wins  8O

Actually I agree with you both. Dusk always reminds me of the years me and my friends spent down at the park playing football (soccer) until there simply wasn't enough light left. Good times :) I much prefer it.

Plus, dawn = got to go to work :?

QUE????
what?
for real?
dusk more inspiring than dawn?
really? *squishes face in puzzled look*

But the dawn .. the clouds part, and the sun breaks through the darkness and a WHOLE NEW DAY IS BORN!!!
The sun sits on the water and then rises ...
Cummon!!!

Dusk ... like zombies come out, and it's scary and screamy and stuff!!!

I agree it's mysterious .. but where is the hope held?

I agree about playing outside til it was too dark to play anymore ... and then you'd go inside and be all itchy because you were rolling in the grass :-)

And I agree that when it's a saturday and you've been out all day, the dusk signals a NEW going out when you get dressed NICE and hit the town ...

but in terms of inspiration gained on life ...
never seeing the sky the same way,
learning to say goodbye to yesterday
always seeking to fly if held down ...

when you're walking free the wind in your back

Coming to realisations you know THAT SORT OF STUFF ...

finding a new lease on life, believing anything is possible
CUMMON!

That's such a sawn thing ... not a dusk thing!!!

Anyway,
 *breathes*

To each their own
crazy Goths LOL :-P LOL

P.S Xenophone, dude I LOVE the avatar LOL :-)

Hey!!!
Do you think VC is into Harry Potter with the whole Voldemort eating the unicorn and sucking it's blood?!?!?!

There's your first mistake. You're obviously thinking about new days in Australia. In England the clouds don't part and the sun breaks nothing :?

Sunrise in australia when the sun rises over the water.
There is intitially a complete absence of light,
the light then starts to infiltrate the sky,
you can see the clouds are ALWAYS horizontal lines parallel with the horizon,
the sky changes to RED ... BLOOD RED ... it's incredible.
And then you see the tip of the sun and as it rises, yeah the clouds become whispy and they start to part and move away, until you can actually see the sun getting higher and higher until it is SITTING on the horizon.
By then the sky is completely light and everything ...

Hullo ... Rosie was showing me some pics yesterday of near her house, and OMG I can't wait to go to England. I'd give up the sun and sky.

:( I love it here. I honestly wouldn't want to live anywhere else. It's just that the weather sucks.

Where are you planning on running to? Any idea?
