A reintroduction, if you please...
« on: October 08, 2004, 05:46:43 am »
I've been gone off this board for the best part of a year, but I think I'll come back, even if only part-time for a while.  Some of you may remember me, but I'm sure there are plenty who don't.

Basically, I'm the one who usually participates in any conversation having to do with Marmite.  Hello, everybody! 8)

Good, with that out of the way, I'll move on to say that I'm eagerly anticipating the release of 'Harmonium', which has been delayed now for a full year.  (Some of you may remember that we were originally told last November, then March, then June, and then September!)  Anyway, it's on the way, and that's all I need to know.

Any questions, please feel free to reply! :D

Well, I think I can safely say a lot has happened since the last time I posted to this board.  I've been at my current residence for about 6½ months.  Right now I'm going to school for a computer systems specialist diploma and driving a 1988 Buick LeSabre. 8)

You actually tried it? :D   Sounds like you must've used too much.  It's only for flavouring, not for coating bread or eating by itself like peanut butter can be!

The only songs I've heard from her new album are, of course, She Floats, Papa, C'est La Vie (already concert standards), and White Houses, along with short snippets of Afterglow and San Francisco.

I slather it all over toast. I use it like I'd use Jam or peanut butter (if peanut butter wasn't rank).

I had a friend who used to eat table spoons of the stuff on it's own. But that's too far for me :?

Correct :) I don't like too much marmite, but in reasonable amounts I love it. Peanut butter is just foul in any amount :-P

Although I hear reese's cups (sp?) are nice :) One day I want to try one.

Yes, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are delicious! :D

They're made by the same company who makes KitKats under licence here in the States.  They're not bad, but Nestlé KitKats are still miles better IMPO.
