I'm thinking "Private Radio" would have been the first single as originally planned, but it's a difficult song for Vanessa to perform live and promote.  It would have meant a no-go for the acoustic tour.  "Private Radio" is a definite band song.  She would need either a backing track or a back-up singer for the harmonies that are pretty integral to the song.
Taking into consideration the influence of Gwen Stefani's album on the current music scene and the new conservatism in media that helped stifle "White Houses" from going higher than about #23 on the mainstream radio chart, I would have gone with "Private Radio" as the debut, "Who's to Say" second, and then maybe "White Houses" in the third single slot, depending on the receptiveness toward the first two singles.
I just hope that if they do go with "Private Radio" as a single that they will commit to making a great, smartly edited video to go along with it.

I agree with shades, who brings up several excellent points, including the many backing vocal parts. Maybe the WH single was a lob, with A&M knowing full well that the album would be stomped by U2 and Eminem, etc., and preferred to wait till after Xmas to release the next single(s).

That's my hope.  Private Radio is a killer single, and maybe Who's To Say.
I'm guessing that SF would do little if anything as a single.

With a band, PR will be a mind-blowing live song!  Here's hoping....

OK.. I'll try to explain it in English because AVRIL ON LIFE ( Uma Avril na Vida ) it's a slang from Brazil.. it means

Vanessa is not a Avril
So, I meant that Vanessa is not like Avril

CLAMICAS Or EMMY.. Help me to explain it

" Eu confio na Vanessa, porque ela não é uma Avril da vida "... Please..

Private Radio will definately be a good choice. It's the catchiest song on the whole album, and in my opinion, White Houses shouldn't have been the first single...after her 2nd single, though, she'll probably either release Who's to Say or Annie....

I'm ready for a new video too, and I think Half a Week Before the Winter would be the coolest! However, that's not going to happen.

I don't care what song she releases next because I like 'em all, but I'm guessing it'll probably be Private Radio, like the rest of you.

I really like White Houses. Too bad it's so controversial.

Don't think it...

We're totally ready for a new video
But the question is

Is Vanessa ready for a new video?

Think of it
I think with all that happened to her life
She didn't get time to think of it yet
But of Course she'll bring a new video for WHO'S TO SAY
