actualy ipods can record... it is a mac formated ipod that I am going to use a PC to extract, and it is telling me that it needs to be formatted

^lol. let's just respect the fact the he doesn't want to or can't share it. patience people...

but if the problem is really him getting it from his ipod, then I suggest a program called yamipod (yamipod.com) its great to transfer files from ipod to pc or mac

all ipods have been able to record except the shuffle. You have to get an attachment, but I can record with a G1 and a G5 - I recorded with the G5 pod, and it came out beautifuly, well the bass was a lil distorted
