As long her music is still the old music and Murder Inc does not change her music style and puts rapbarts or beats on her songs  i think i can wear the decision that she will call herself V. For me she will rest as Vanessa Carlton and I'll never call her V. Hiow the rest of the world calls her doesn't matter for me.

but then as i said earlier....from vanessa's latest post...i think irv jus wants to call her v...vanessa is too big a name for him to remember...

the article though does clarify one thing though...

wow so he's EXCITED. that is good news. it means something when a badass brotha gets "excited" and says he's excited.

i was thinking:

this isin't as much as a change for Vanessa as it will be for Irv Gotti. He's signing her to show that he deals with very versitile musicians, he's not going to morph her into a ra-ra-raper.
