Love this. I'm so grateful to be in the age of nice phone cameras/videos. I remember being 16 and listening to a super grainy recording of "The One" over and over and over. Never imagined we could have recordings like this.

Yes, Annie was beautiful live. She explained the story fully, too, which was nice. Really hearing something from the Harmonium era besides WH and hell even WTS was such a treasure. I'm sad I never saw her during those tours.

Will leave review after show. Anyone else going? Am hoping there is booze sold there.

Also am excited this is the first show of the tour, have only gone during the middle before, don't know what to expect!

EDIT

Hey guys! OMG the show was outstanding!! It started about 45 minutes late, and then she had an opening act on for about 35, but it's okay! Just hung out with some wine.  I was able to nab the setlist, but left it at my boyfriends, so I'm trying to remember the order.

She started with ATM which I thought was nice, she said "let's just get this over with"
Then Carousel with Learning to Fly intro
Hands on me I think next
Guys she played Annie!!!!! I could hear her warming up and playing it before the show, but I didn't think there was any way she would. It was beautiful!
Then Who's to Say? I think?
Maybe White Houses next
She played Take it Easy then moved to Operator with no introduction
Marching Line maybe?
I know I'm missing something, her encore was Bride.

So no new songs, but she did keep saying to Skye " we gotta change this set list" so i don't know if that was her joking or if she really wants to change it. Would have loved to have heard something new, but I really loved the set. Would have been happy if she had played Best Behavior ;)

All in all it was a great show, it was a big arts venue, and some of the seats weren't filled up, I think Ticket Master pre purchased them because they weren't available when I tried to buy tickets. Anyway, the opening act said anyone was welcome to fill up the seats. I think people were hesitant, but I said screw it, what will they do, just make us go back to our old seats? So we went from a balcony seat to front row touching the stage! It was fantastic.

She met with people after the show to sign things.

Merch they had a new shirt with Vanessa on it, Earlier Things on CD, same with Liberman. Rabbits and Libberman on vinyl. I didn't see any posters but maybe? They also had the Victor shirt as a baseball tee.

Glad you had a good time! Disappointing to hear she went to Europe to perform for the first time in what 14 years? and didn't meet people after the show. So happy you got to see her!

They played it during the Oscars as well. I saw it again today.

I'm still so bitter that H and T video never came to light! The Haunted Club tour was perfection and I remember being at that show. Can't wait to have a physical copy of this tour though!

Aw, thanks you two! (also I may have jumped on stage after V finished to find a setlist and had some security guys yell at me to jump back down)

Live Shows / 10/31 Indianapolis REVIEW

Well talk about the best Halloween ever! What a great concert and venue. I was so excited to see V on Halloween because I knew it would remind me of her Haunted Club tour she did for Heroes and Thieves. I got a shirt, a hoodie, and Liberman. Great show.

She played
Carousel with Learning to Fly intro. So beautiful
Tall Tales
Then she skipped Unlock (unless I had a stroke or something but I was looking at the set list and she didn't play it)
WH. She said she wanted to play an old song first then dive into new ones
Take it Easy
Willows (beautiful)
7 Swords She talked about how everyone has to find their own way
Operator (again....just amazing) Heard this one waiting outside while she was doing a soundcheck
Blue Pool
Nothing
River
Bride
ATM
Get Good
Home

It was a really fantastic show and V was so kind to meet everyone after the show. I apologized to her bc the last time I met her I was slightly drunk and emotional. I got her to sign her set list and I was able to congratulate her on her baby and told her how much Liberman meant to at least one person.

It seemed like there were a lot of nessaholics there who were longtime fans! I was the drunk platinum blonde in the green dress. I was on a high after the show and since then I've been experiencing post VC concert blues since you never know when she'll tour again. Fantastic. Got a pic with Skye and told him how much I loved All is Well and he said it's a great song.

I love this song. I've actually played it multiple times as opposed to 'In the End' that I listened to maye once or twice

Love it! Can't wait to see her tomorrow. Did she meet with fans after the show besides the meet and greet?? She has the last three concerts I've been too but I know her baby is with her so I didn't know if she is doing that or not.

While I love some songs on rabbits, it was always my least favorite album--proably because it was so different than her previous work. Her old versions of FWF were my favorite and I didn't like the dreamy vibe of this. But his album. It's perfect. I know sales wise it's not expected for much but if V still lurks around here I hope she knows what a dream record this is. It's the perfect time for it and it's hauntingly beautiful. My bro works for buzzfeed and I think I convinced him to do a review of the album for some extra publicity.

Am slightly devastated that A Matter of Time doesn't have a living room session as it's my favorite song from the album.

I listened to Liberman walking to the laundromat with fall leaves falling and then a few hours later in the bath tub. It made me so happy. Commercial success aside I hope Vanessa knows how much this album means to at least one person.

This album is amazing. I wrote a week ago how I wasn't excited for it, but now I can't stop listening. It's so beautiful and so happy and I think it's the best work she's ever done. I can't wait to see her on Halloween and this album is everything I need right now. You can tell how happy she is with John and bb Syd and it's so great to see it in her work. I love it.

OMG at Matter of Time. Listened to it all day today. It's so beautiful. I hadn't listened to a live version before. V is so right--this is such a happy album to listen to. I'm in love.
