My thoughts exactly. I have a video already pre-conceived in my mind with Nessa dancing down a waterfall/stream, surounded by fairies, signing.

I always thought Vanessas music was a bit too mature for fairies. I'm thinking of her actually walking down a street, but my imagination sucks

I'd always imagined, Nessa would be wearing something like this in the video. She'll be dancing around this, surrounded with these, with maybe a little of mist

It wasn't Peter Pan, it was a joke. I just see this song as a sort of coming of age thing with V. I think she's matured in her songwriting and in herself, so fairies would kinda contradict the song IMHO.

I bet it's gonna be preeeeeeeetty.  *taps Vanessa's shoulder* AND NO DANCING! I liked White Houses but you can do much more with 'Nolita!'

I actually really liked the dancing she did in the video for White Houses.  It was really cool to see her dancing like that.  Let's see what she comes up with this time.  

Definately! I love the dancing in White Houses. However, I'm sure there's a lot to do with Nolita Fairytale besides dancing. Just an opinion lol  :oops:

I don't think Nolita Fairytale is one of Vanessa's "mature" songs. I actually think some of her most mature songs have been unreleased. I still think Swindler is her best song to date, and Morning Sting is pretty mature as well. Nolita Fairytale is very much like a page out of her diary and I thought she said she was through writing about herself a few years ago. Or was that someone else? I forget. Anyhow, I like her more abstract music more. I like Heroes and Thieves and Nolita Fairytale is, meh, ok, but I hope there aren't even more songs on the album about her music industry struggle. There was already This Time before all those, and My Best might be in the same topic area, too. That might be a little bit of overkill. I know they aren't all exactly the same, but they do have a similar sentiment.

i've had this song on repeat since yesterday, and i can't seem to keep from tearing up every time i play it. i love it. i'm so proud of her and proud to be a fan of her. i can't wait to hear what it sounds like with just her and the piano. i hope she plays it on the stevie tour! i can see it now... she sings the line about stevie and the crowd roars... for our nessa! *tear* god, i love this woman.
