I wished she produced a really long record like Christina Aguilera's albums like Stripped, which contained 20 song, and Back to Basics, which contained 22 songs.

I like Back to basics I don't think it's 'too happy' there are some great songs , some happy some sad and very personal.
Anyway...I agree that 16 tracks would be good enough!
didn't someone mention this before.... That christina should have sent more time on each song, and that only having 11 or so is good because it allows for more time to be spent on each song... and something about artists only getting paid for 11, but I know that V likes her new label so yea... anyways clarice were you able to download the clips?
It depends on the artist. Tori Amos has long records, around 20+ or so each. And there's never any filler on any of her albums, she's very detailed orriented and each song deserves it's place on the album.
But you can't really compare an artist like Tori Amos to someone like Christina. lol
I think Vanessa is certainly capable of producing longer records. I mean, she's been hitting us with great songs one after the other since she first debuted This Time, The One and Hands On Me 2 years ago.
When an artist has more than 11 songs on a CD it's basically giving fans "freebies". We deserve those freebies! :lol:
