OMG!

I would NEVER expect Vanessa to call a song "Moneymaker", that doesn't sound like her AT ALL.
And is only me or the part about the birds and the glow seems like extracted from the lyrics?

Now I'm starting to think that she's definitely gonna perform some new songs on the next concert on june, pleeeeeease someone take a camera to record everything! :o

Yeah, I saw that earlier today. I tweeted back my discomfort over that title. I really hope that is nothing... NOTHING how I am now imagining it. I mean, holy god.

The title "Rabbits on the Run" is amazing. Don't know why some people around here don't like it. I think it's the best title yet and i loved it right from the beginning.
I'm so excited what this new songs will sound like and I'm so happy that she's putting out some information again, so that we can be sure she's still alive ^^

An update!!  :D

I never expected such title from her. I mean, "Money Maker" is pretty distant from "Hands On Me" or "Nolita Fairytale." But if her writing style had indeed changed, then I'm pretty apprehensive on what's it gonna sounds like.

"Rabbits On The Run" sounds more and more exciting.

I know! It really doesn't sound like her!
I also think it's some part of the lyrics or she's just being too poetic

I don't know what to expect from this album. It seems to me that is going to be very different from her other works, but in the good way.

The fact that she said the album is the 'best medicine" makes me worried we were right about a severe mental illness of some sort.
MoneyMaker sound really hip-hoppy, I hope she tries new things without going too nuts lol

Yeah, the reference to the record as some sort of 'medicine' made me wonder too.

And about the song, anyone here who thinks Irv had something to do with this?? Just kidding. ;D

I had a dream last night that I heard "Money Maker" for the first time. It was this ridiculous song with her and this rapper singing about how the ass is a great tool for making profits in a strip club.

I cried.

I agree! The first time I heard the title I thought the same exact thing...Vanessa is releasing a rap song?? haha but now that I've been thinking about it; I'm envisioning an imaginative song about performing gypsies or troubadours singing on street corners just trying to make a dime. Just my new Vanessa-y take on it :)

I dont think money maker will be hip hoppy at all. it might just be another "C'est La Vie" but instead of to her first record label, to The Inc as she did leave them (right? hope im making sense).

I wouldn't worry about the "Moneymaker" title, it honestly sounds to me like one of those titles that's going to change. Remember how Ordinary Day was initially called Divide & Conquer?

And even if that isn't the case, I really don't think we need to worry about Vanessa going into bizarre territory like hip-hop. She said long ago she would never do that.
