I had the same reaction! I love Abe's work on BNN and was so thrilled he's on the single. I hope he's on the rest of the album. He's such a great drummer. I was glad to see Ron Fair's name there too. He's da man!

Does anyone know how to translate White Houses into a Midi File?  If this can be done, I can transcribe the song to sheet music..

hmmm how to explain this..

this program i have takes MIDI recordings and translates them into sheet music.  all i have to do is play the MIDI recording and ill have the sheet music for WH.

I have a few questions about the lyrics.

We've covered the White houses and snow bit.... But then why does it talk about summer? "Summer's full in bloom, Summer's ending soon". Just wondering.

And a few times she mentioned "the five of us" and that they were in love...With each other? Sorry, that was my first thought "Where's the love triangle and whatnot".

Just my random thoughts...

Err no. I think they were all her friends from ballet school- hence the 'little bunk of love'- and that they all fell in love one summer with different boys.
