Yeah.  If you right click and view the pic, is says "Victoria & Vanessa Carlton" in the image filename.

Putting the story with the picture and the song makes me want to start sobbing. It was so great of V to reach out to her, and then to write a song... wow 8O

It's changed my perspective a lil' :-)

I don't know, there is still too much figurative talk of "slipping away" and "flew deep within the blue" and "ghosts"

But hey it's not my song :-)
And i'm truely happy that in THIS story,
not only did they find matching donors
but they DIDN"T NEED THEM! And Victoria will be ok thanks to her OWN immune system!!!
GO THE BODY! :-)

Maddest props to V for bringing this to ppl's attention, and bringing into the spotlight.

I am still way too chicken to give blood, but next time i'm there ... I might give it an extra thought.

But her name isn't Annie :(

Obv the song is inspired by Victoria.  But the fictional Annie dies in the song.  Z reasons this out pretty well.
